What our guests are saying...
Awesome, spotless small house with AMAZING views..
The house was amazing, clean, warm, wonderful.. NOT wanting to leave will be a problem, because I had it BAD.. A deep winter freeze might cause problems unless you have a 4-wheel drive, steep paved road with switchbacks, but that is the ONLY possible thing that could happen, everything else is MAGNIFICENT.. Hiked many of the trails on top Mt. Nebo, some easy and some not so.. I can't say ENOUGH how wonderful this rental is, the views from your backyard are to die for, and other views at places on the rim trail that passes in back of the cabin are more so sometimes, simply stunning.. Sooooooo quiet always.. I just can't say enough.. The roadrunner paid a visit as well as numerous deer and squirrels and sparrows in the bird feeder.. If you stay here you will NEVER be sorry, only sorry to leave.. I'll be coming back.. The cabin could really sleep 7 easily, and 10 in decent weather.. Nice kitchen and 2 bathrooms.. Beats the hell out of Gatlinburg at it's BEST.. Nothing really tourist about the area, just a cabin on a mountain with other State Park cabins and private residences.. Only a 20min drive from the top to the town of Dardenelle and a WalMart.. The owner is wonderful, makes you feel welcome and friendly, nice people..

Great cabin with a view and an awesome back porch!
Rusty and Nita have a great place here atop of Nebo. As most things on Nebo it's peaceful and quiet with plenty of deer around. Each day wouldn't have been complete without the daily visit from the road runner.
We have little children so it was so nice that the cabin is furnished. Only things we brought to the cabin were clothes, food and drink. The rest is there for you to enjoy, relax and enjoy the view - including a few bicycles and an outdoor charcoal grill. You have a great view from both the living room couches and the back porch. No need to go over to sunset view as you get a great view of the sunset from the back yard of the cabin.
Everything was clean and very well kept. You can tell Rusty and Nita take a lot of pride in the cabin. The extra touches like the handwritten welcome note and the instructions on how to work the tv/satellite/media player were nice.
I think we enjoyed the back porch the most. Lots of chairs and a daybed to hang out and play games even after dark. Our family enjoyed it a lot. It is screened in too so you don't have to worry about any bugs or critters.
Definitely hope to visit again! Thanks again to Rusty and Nita!

"This place is so AWESOME, we've already booked our next stay! :)"
This was our 2nd cabin out of 3 that we stayed in during a 10-night vacation through the Ozarks and Ouachitas of western Arkansas and it was definitely our favorite! From the moment we pulled into the driveway and saw the amazing view from the backyard we knew that Taylor's Cabin would be special. The house is cozy, clean and has a nice layout. Our 2 boys LOVED sleeping in the beds on the back porch as it was kind of like they were camping (plus they learned how to play checkers!) while our daughter had the other room to herself. Our first day we went hiking on the Rim Trail to the nearby waterfall (it was really roaring as it had poured rain earlier, and you can even walk behind it!) and then to the Visitor's center. We caught two very beautiful sunsets from Sunset Point. Unfortunately it was too cloudy in the mornings while we were there for a good sunrise from Sunrise Point but we did hike over there on a sunny afternoon and our kids had fun playing on the rocks. Me and my two sons (8 & 6) had a good time riding our mountain bikes around the Bench Trail. We went over to Petit Jean SP and hiked to Cedar Falls and explored the Bear Cave area. We also went down to the Arkansas River right below the dam and threw rocks in the river and saw some barges come through the locks.
We had such a good time here that before our vacation was even over we were already talking about when we could come back! So we booked it for Thanksgiving Break!

"Another Amazing Stay"
We've stayed at Taylors' Cabin with a group of old college friends for 4 years in a row now, and we've also stayed there with just our family several other times, and it's never been anything but perfect.
It's ALWAYS comfy, cozy, and feels like a home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked, the furniture and bedrooms are comfortable, and it's always meticulously cleaned and well taken care of.
Never had a problem communicating with owners and they always seem to go out of their way to make us feel like family.
We've been up there with sunshine, clouds, rain & snow, and Nebo never disappoints. Can't wait for the next time we can make it up to their cabin!

"We REALLY Hated To Leave !"
Our family (3 adults - 2 children) stayed in Taylor's Cabin from March 7th - March 11th. When we arrived at the cabin we were met with a chalk board welcome message & small gift which was VERY thoughtful & appreciated. Even though it was cold & rainy and we were forced to stay indoors one day, nobody seemed to mind, not even the kids. There were lots of interesting books, games and tons of DVD movies in the house to keep us entertained - the owners even had popcorn, hot chocolate & assorted candies on the kitchen counter for us. The view from this home is outstanding, the house is very well-stocked, beautifully decorated and SO cozy & comfortable. We had lots of fun & would love to visit again, if the owners will have us back, and we'll definitely recommend this home to our friends !
Thanks again to Rusty & Nita for making our much-needed escape from the big city SO perfect... our ONLY complaint is that our visit to Taylor's cabin on Mt. Nebo was much too short !
